Dr Jessica O'Brien is an Aboriginal woman from northwest NSW (Nyngan/Bourke). She is a general and non-invasive imaging cardiologist and the Alfred's Aboriginal Medical Advisor. In addition to clinical work, she is undertaking research involving the use of cardiac MRI in diagnosing acute rheumatic fever.
