A/Prof Anne Powell

Anne Powell is the current Program Director of Physician Education at Alfred Health responsible for over 110 basic physician trainees as well as coordinating the external facing teaching program to physician trainees across Australia and New Zealand. She is the past Director of Medical Student Programs for Central Clinical School, Monash University.

Anne is a Rheumatologist, both at the Alfred Rheumatology and General Medicine Units and in private practice. She is a Senior National Examining Panel member for the Royal Australian College of Physicians (RACP).

Anne previously completed a Masters of Clinical Education with a focus on clinical reasoning skills and types of errors made by junior doctors. Her current research is looking at factors to reduce burnout amongst doctors in training and their educators with Health RoundTable.
