Physician education celebrates outstanding examination results

We are very proud to announce that our basic physician trainees (BPTs) achieved an exceptional 94% pass rate in this year's RACP clinical examination with 34/36 candidates passing. This follows their impressive performance in the written examinations earlier this year with a 97% pass rate (30/31).

Basic Physician Training is a three-year program. Trainees sit a clinical exam in their final year of basic training before progressing to advance training in their chosen specialities.

The clinical education program has expanded to over 100 consultant physicians educators and advanced trainees contributing and is overseen by the physician education team (A/Prof Laila Rotstein, A/Prof Anne Powell, Dr Richie Coates, A/Prof Fiona Bodey, Dr Tia Solomon and Priyanka Chahal).
