Exceptional written exam results

The Alfred Physician Education team is proud to announce that our Basic Physician trainees achieved an exceptional 97% pass rate in 2023 written examination with 35/36 candidates passing.

This is well above the national average and state average.

The lecture program, which runs during the dedicated Wednesday afternoon training time, along with additional online modules and trial examinations has contributed significantly to this excellent result.

This is an incredible success particularly given how challenging the last few years have been for this group to undertake their training. Please join us in congratulating them as they continue their preparations for the upcoming clinical examinations.

Our education team trains basic physician trainees and has advanced training positions in all physician subspecialty areas. We have developed a range of education and knowledge exchange activities open to healthcare professionals and delivered in collaboration with Monash Translational Medicine, Monash University.
