2021 Excellence Award Winners

The Alfred Health Recognising Excellence Awards were held at the beautiful Carousel on Albert Park Lake on Monday December 6th 2021.

Hosted by the wonderful Australian Journalist, Virginia Trioli, these were made extra special being The Alfred 150th Anniversary Year. The Awards recognised both individual and group achievements for the previous twelve months. Receiving two humbling nominations in their category, the Physician Education Team were thrilled to come away joint winners of their Education & Development category in a field of remarkable Alfred Health groups nominated.

After a tumultuous 2021 where Covid wreaked havoc in all aspects of teaching and learning world-wide The Alfred proudly achieved an amazing 100% pass rate in their 2020 Clinical Exams, something of which the team are very proud.

Our partners

Alfred Health remains a leader in physician medicine with its affiliated research and education contributions. Our education team trains basic physician trainees and has advanced training positions in all physician subspecialty areas. We have developed a range of education and knowledge exchange activities open to healthcare professionals and delivered in collaboration with Monash Translational Medicine, Monash University.
