Approach to the RACP Clinical Examination 2026

The Alfred Hospital traditionally has outstanding results in the RACP Written and Clinical Examination, with excellent success rates both internally and from candidates enrolled in our external program. 

In 2026, we are excited to provide our clinical exam preparation course once again to external applicants. 

Early registration is now open, providing candidates with immediate access to our online modules. These resources are continually refined with feedback from previous trainees to ensure they remain practical, relevant, and supportive of your exam preparation.

Beginning in February 2026, we will also host live webinars covering both long and short cases. These interactive sessions will give trainees the opportunity to engage directly with faculty, clarify course material, and strengthen their clinical examination skills.

  • A comprehensive set of modules with recent recordings from senior clinical educators, including national and local RACP examiners.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This program is aimed at basic physician trainees who are preparing for their RACP clinical examinations in Australia or New Zealand.

INTERESTED?

Course applications are now open (if you enroll and are not successful in the written examinations, we will move your enrolment to 2027) as the course will commence prior the written examination results release due to the earlier clinical examination dates.

Cost: - $880 including GST

REGISTRATION PROCESS

  • Due to the upcoming Bayside Health merger, our online registration portal is temporarily unavailable. To ensure there is no disruption to your preparation, we are opening registrations now. Payments will be processed separately, and the invoices will be sent directly to you via email. 

  • If you wish to register, please email (at physicianeducation@alfred.org.au) proof of your successful completion of the written examinations and confirmation that you will be sitting the upcoming clinical exams. We will then arrange access to the online modules, so you can commence your preparation without delay.
